Reports is where you see how your business is doing and get the numbers you need for GST. Every report opens on the same screen and works the same way.
Pick a report
On the left is the list of reports, grouped by type:
- Transaction — sales, purchases and day-to-day activity.
- Profitability — how much profit you made.
- Party — money owed by and to your customers and vendors.
- Item & Stock — what you hold in stock.
- GST — the returns and summaries for filing.
- Expense — what you spent, and cash flow.
Click any report to open it. On a phone, pick the report from the dropdown at the top.
Set the date range
Above the report, pick a period: Today, This month, Last month, or This FY (this financial year). Choose Custom… to pick any two dates. Reports open on This month by default.
Filter (some reports)
Some reports add extra filters — a Party, an Item, a Status (Draft, Unpaid, Partial, Paid), or a Type (Sales, Purchase, and so on). Only the filters that apply to the report you picked are shown. Each has an “All …” option to clear it.
Export
Every report has CSV, PDF, and Excel buttons. CSV and Excel open in a spreadsheet; PDF is ready to print or email. A few GST reports have extra export buttons — see GST reports.
If a report is empty for the period you chose, you will see “No data in this period”.
