When you delete an invoice, payment, party, item, expense, or template, it is not gone straight away — it goes to the Recycle bin. From here you can bring it back or remove it for good.
Open it from Settings > Recycle bin.
Find a deleted record
Use the tabs at the top to narrow the list: All, Invoices, Payments, Parties, Items, Expenses, or Templates. Each row shows the record and the date it was deleted.
Restore
Click Restore on a row to bring the record back. A couple of things to know:
- Restoring an invoice whose customer was also deleted asks whether to restore the customer too.
- A payment comes back with its invoice — restore the invoice first, and the payment returns with it.
Purge (remove for good)
To delete a record permanently, click the Purge permanently icon on its row and confirm. To empty the whole bin, click Purge all and confirm. Purged records cannot be restored.
If a record will not purge yet, purge the invoices or payments that use it first.
