A statement lists every movement in one account over a date range, with a running balance — just like a bank passbook.
Open a statement
- Open the account from Cash & Bank.
- Click Statement at the top.
Read the statement
- The first row is the Opening balance — the money in the account at the start of the range.
- Each row after shows the Date, Particulars (what the entry was), and the amount in the In or Out column, with the running Balance.
- The last row is the Closing balance, with the totals of everything that came in and went out.
Change the date range
Use the chips to pick Today, This month, Last month, or This FY (this financial year). Choose Custom… to pick any start and end date. The statement opens on This FY by default.
Export
Click Export CSV to save the statement as a file you can open in Excel or send to your accountant. Dates are shown as DD/MM/YYYY and amounts in ₹.
