For an extra copy that is not on your computer, Yojika can upload your backups to your own Google Drive. This is off by default — you turn it on yourself.
Your business data stays on this computer. If you turn this on, copies of your backups are uploaded to a hidden folder in your Google Drive that only Yojika can see. Nothing else is ever sent.
This option is in Settings, under Back up to Google Drive.
Turn it on
- Open Settings and find Back up to Google Drive.
- Turn on Upload backups to Google Drive.
- Yojika shows a web address and a short code. On your phone or browser, open that address and enter the code to sign in to your Google account.
- When it says Connected to your Google Drive, you are done.
Everyday use
Once connected, your backups upload to Google Drive on their own. You can also click Back up now in this section to upload straight away. The card shows when the last Drive backup happened, or a warning if an upload failed (it retries next time).
Disconnect
Click Disconnect to stop uploading and unlink your Google account. Your backups already on Drive stay where they are, and your data on this computer is untouched.
