Restoring loads an earlier backup back into Yojika — useful when you move to a new computer, or if something has gone wrong and you want to go back to a good copy.
Restoring replaces everything currently in Yojika with the backup. This cannot be undone, so back up first if you are unsure.
Steps
- Open Settings and find Backup & restore.
- Click Restore….
- Choose your backup file. Backup files end in
.sqlite. - Read the warning and click Restore to confirm.
- Yojika prepares the backup and asks you to restart. Quit and reopen Yojika.
When Yojika opens again, your restored data is loaded.
If the file is not accepted
If the file you picked is not a valid Yojika backup, Yojika tells you and
nothing changes. Pick the correct .sqlite backup file and try again.
