Barcode Generator prints price-tag labels — item name, price and the scannable barcode — for many items in one job. Each item can have a barcode; print single labels from an item’s row with Print label on the Items screen. This tool is for runs of many items at once.
Open Utilities in the sidebar and click the Barcode Generator tile.
Select the items
- Tick the checkbox beside each item to print. Only items that have a barcode can be ticked — items without one show add a barcode to print in the Barcode column and their checkbox is switched off. Add a barcode in the item editor’s Barcode field first.
- Use the search box to narrow the list by name or barcode.
Choose the sheet and print
Click Print labels… in the bar above the table.
- Pick the layout:
- A4 sheet (3 × 9 labels) — sheet-fed label paper, or plain paper you cut up. 27 labels per page.
- Thermal roll (50 × 30 mm) — a thermal label printer. One label per page.
- Set Labels per item — every ticked item gets that many labels.
- The dialog shows the totals before you commit, for example 96 labels across 4 pages. Large runs continue onto extra pages automatically — nothing past the first page is dropped.
- Click Print and choose your printer.
A label shows the item name, the sale price and the barcode. A standard 13-digit EAN-13 code prints in the EAN-13 symbology; any other code (a scanned UPC or a free-form SKU) prints as Code-128, which handles letters and numbers.
