Fix the "Clock problem" screen

What to do when Yojika blocks with a clock problem because your device date and time are wrong.

Updated

Sometimes Yojika shows a Clock problem screen and will not let you in. This happens when your computer’s date and time have moved backwards — for example if the date was changed by hand, or the small clock battery inside the computer has run down.

Yojika uses the clock to keep track of your licence, so it stops until the clock is correct. Your data is safe — nothing is lost.

How to fix it

  1. Correct the date and time on your device.
    • On Windows: right-click the clock in the bottom-right corner, choose Adjust date and time, and turn on Set time automatically (or set the correct date and time by hand).
  2. Come back to Yojika and click I’ve fixed the clock.

Yojika checks the clock again and unlocks automatically once the date and time are correct.

If it still will not unlock

If the date and time look right but Yojika still blocks, click Check online. If your internet is working, Yojika asks its server to confirm your licence and lets you back in.

If that does not work either, the screen reminds you to fix the date and time in Windows and try again.
