Cloud sync keeps the same shop up to date across your own devices — make a bill on your desktop and see it on your phone. It is optional, off by default, and available on the Combo plan.
With sync off, Yojika stays fully offline — your data never leaves the device. Sync is not a backup; for that, see Back up your data.
Cloud sync is in Settings, under Cloud sync.
What gets synced
- Your invoices, parties (customers and vendors), and items/stock.
Your billing licence and payment details are not part of sync.
Your data is stored in Yojika’s secure cloud, tied to your account. Only your own signed-in devices can read it.
Turn it on
- Open Settings > Cloud sync, then open the sync screen.
- Read what will be uploaded and tap Continue.
- Enter your email address and tap Email me a code.
- Type the 6-digit code from your email and tap Verify & continue.
- Tap Enable sync on this device. Yojika uploads your current data so your other devices can catch up. You can keep billing while this runs.
Add a second device
On the other device, open Cloud sync, sign in with the same email, and tap Enable sync on this device. Signing in alone does not enable sync. Yojika confirms this device’s own number series before sharing data. Existing document numbers stay unchanged.
If setup is pending after an interruption, return to Cloud sync and enable it again. If the assigned series conflicts with existing books, sync stays off and explains the conflict. Keep using your local books; do not reset counters or renumber old bills to bypass the message.
After restoring a backup, enable Cloud sync again so Yojika can check this device’s registration. A backup does not transfer another device’s sync access. Turning sync off keeps the series already adopted for local billing.
Working offline
You can keep billing with no internet. Your changes are saved on the device and sync automatically the next time you are online.
Turn it off
On the sync screen, tap Turn off sync on this device. Your data always stays on the device. You then choose what happens to your cloud copy:
- Keep my cloud copy for 30 days — in case you change your mind. It is deleted automatically after 30 days.
- Delete my cloud copy now — removes it from the cloud straight away. This cannot be undone.
